Repair, Not Despair

Don’t fret if your computer suddenly shows the Blue Screen of Death. If your Mac doesn’t go past the Apple logo, it doesn’t mean it’s rotten! Bring your equipment to us so we can diagnose its problems.

Here’s how it works:

When you bring it to us, we try and re-create the problem you’re having so that we have a clear picture of the issues facing your computer. We take a deposit, which is deducted from any repair labor costs if you agree to have your equipment fixed. Once we have a diagnosis, we search for the best solution and contact you about the actions we have to take in order to repair your system.

If it’s too expensive to fix:

Don’t worry; we’ve gotten good over time at figuring out what repairs are cost-effective and which ones aren’t. Sometimes, when you’re trying to fix a computer, problems that hadn’t made themselves apparent will pop up and make it worse. Our diagnosis process tries to cover everything, but this means that if we figure out that the cost of repairing your computer is larger than the cost of getting newer, better equipment, it’s going to be better if you spend less buying newer equipment. We help you make a decision and find equipment better suited to your needs. While we’re at it, we can set it up so that your new system has your old data transferred over, so your data remains safe, in a new, better house.

We’ve got you covered:

Our repair labor comes with a 90-day warranty. If we fixed it, and it broke in a different way, or did something unexpected, bring it back, and we’ll take a look at it again—free of charge.

  • How long does the diagnosis take?

    • Generally diagnostics range from 1 to 2 business days. Some even might be same day. This time frame is highly dependent on how much work we have the moment you arrive.

  • What’s the cost?

    • The Diagnostics/Deposit fee for a regular PC, Mac or laptop; also for any type is job our minimum is $35.87 + tax = $40. These $40 are counted against your total labor cost for the repair.

    • Data Recovery is $65.

    • PC & Macs that have a medium difficulty dismantling job will be $75. Difficulty is determined on a case by case basis.

    • PC & Macs that have a high difficulty dismantling job will be $100. Difficulty is determined on a case by case basis.

    • Custom gaming PCs will be $50.

  • What does the diagnostics include?

    • We will try to recreate the same problem with you when you bring your computer. We then try to troubleshoot a solution for it. Once we find the problem we will present you with an estimated solution and cost. Depending on the difficulty of your work, we might even present various alternatives.

  • What if the repair is more expensive than the computer itself?

    • If this is the case, we will still present you with other alternatives. When it comes to this, we take it on a case by case basis. Your Deposit Fee is also counted against this solution.

  • What if I don’t want to repair the PC nor accept any other solution?

    • We hand you back your PC and other materials. We stay with the deposit fee. We wallow in sadness.

    • If you later decide that you want to continue with us, your deposit fee is good for 30 days after we hand in your materials.
